Art Beat for Kids & Teens

Art Beat has a diverse, exciting curriculum that introduces students to art history as well as contemporary art, including artists that are on view at our local museums. Our program focuses on open-ended lesson plans, that allows students to head in their own directions. Art Beat is an inter-disciplinary studio which holds at its cornerstone the need to expose budding artists to a variety of art materials such as drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics. Through the use of observation, imagination, and expression, students are given an opportunity to learn, grow, and express themselves.
